SYNLawn is dedicated to environmental sustainability. We are the first and only company to manufacture plant-based artificial grass. Since 2008, we have worked with American farmers to locally source renewable soybeans and sugar cane. With their help, we have replaced 60–80% of petroleum components in our manufacturing and have also become the first company to offer a growing collection of USDA-certified artificial turf.
In addition, traditional artificial grass has included a rubber crumb infill system to keep turf blades from flattening. Rubber crumbs are another source of PFAS. At SYNLawn, we replaced this outdated infill with the Envirofill® acrylic sand infill. Envirofill® is an eco-friendly antimicrobial alternative that keeps your turf blades upright while controlling and eliminating bacterial growth.
